Letter From Recruitment Chair

Hello Everyone!

Welcome, and thank you for taking an interest in Phi Mu! My name is Mallory Kramer and I am the current Recruitment Chair for the Beta Eta chapter of Phi Mu at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Deciding to go through recruitment was one of the best decisions I made in my college career. Through Phi Mu I have developed so many amazing friendships, participated in various philanthropy events, and explored leadership opportunities and experiences that I never would have been exposed to if it wasn’t for this incredible organization!  This year has been challenging in so many different ways for all of us, but through all of the uncertainties and changes, I have consistently been able to lean on the girls in Phi Mu. I can’t imagine how it feels to start your college years virtually, but I know this chapter is doing everything to make the virtual experience just as amazing for our members and potential new members. 

Although the recruitment process can seem overwhelming especially with all of the uncertainties on campus right now, I would do it 100 times over to have the unforgettable college experiences that I have had thus far. Miami University has a vibrant Greek community that is truly centered around helping you to grow into the best version of yourself that you can possibly be. It seems like only yesterday that I was in your shoes, looking for a way to make the most out of my college experience and deciding if Greek life was truly the best decision for me. Each chapter is full of incredible girls and no matter what  you will find a group of amazing girls that will impact your life in ways you never imagined. 

I encourage you to make the commitment to make the most of your four years at Miami. Take risks, meet new people, and try things you have never done before. The memories you will leave here with will stay with you forever. I know that the memories I have made with my incredible sisters will stay with me for a lifetime. I look forward to meeting all of you and wish you the best of luck with recruitment!
