Fall is fast approaching and the sisters of Beta Eta have a plethora of exciting events and activities planned for the season. Along with the intense competition of Greek Week and a fun filled Dad’s Weekend, we are also looking forward to our wonderful philanthropic opportunities.

Each Greek organization across the nation has the privilege to support a specific philanthropy, and Phi Mu is no exception. Phi Mu Fraternity raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network, with Beta Eta’s specific hospital being Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. It has been continuously rated one of the top three children’s hospitals in the nation and serves thousands of children and their families.

One of our newest and largest fundraisers for Cincinnati Children’s is the “Cincinnati Walks for Kids” event. It is held by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital every fall at Coney Island in Cincinnati and involves thousands of people working and walking to help the same cause. Beta Eta is proud to once again join the individuals who come together to make a positive difference in the lives of the ill children.

Last year, Phi Mu Beta Eta was able to contribute over $2,500 at the Cincinnati Walks for Kids with donations from our sisters themselves. It is our sincere hope that this year, with the help and support of Alumni, family, and friends, we will be capable of exceeding last years donation, and in turn helping to save more children’s lives. If you are interested in donating to these children and families in need or wish to participate in this rewarding experience with Beta Eta, please view the attached document.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter and we hope to hear from you to make more miracles happen in the life of a sick child.

Sincerely,
The Sisters of Phi Mu Beta Eta
